Jelena victorious in Dubai

Sixth-seeded Serb Jelena Jankovic was made to work hard to go past Aravane Rezai of France in their 2nd round match in Dubai. Jelena had problems in the first set, which she lost 6:4, but then she regrouped and closed the match out. After more than two hours on the court, Jelena won 4:6, 6:4, 7:5.
